Cocoa Fruit Tropical Juice Products
The cocoa fruit, called pod, is ovoid and long, reaching 10 cm and weighing approximately 500 grams. When ripe it contains 20 to 60 seeds - the cacao beans.
The puree is made from sound, mature fruit from the cocoa fruit. It has a pleasant aromatic flavor and can be used as an ingredient in fruit juices, yogurt, ice cream, snack bars, etc.
Cocoa Fruit puree is produced from the best quality mature fruit. The puree is extracted from the fruit, run through a 0.02" screen, pasteurized, and immediately cooled, packaged, and frozen. All processing of cocoa puree is done under the guidelines of good manufacturing practices.
The product is free of any additives or preservatives. It has a pleasant aromatic flavor and can be used as an ingredient in fruit juices, yogurt, ice cream, snack bars, etc.
